I hope someone can help with this. My great, great grandma, Sarah Mangham, died in 1893 and records state she was buried in the Parish of Penistone on February 28th. She isn’t in Penistone Church graveyard as far as I can see. A search of Penistone-Stottercliffe on the Barnsley Cemeteries website gets no results. I’m thinking that an error has been made when inputting her name and wonder if it is possible to search for Sarah in 1893 without entering a surname. The site seems to insist on at least a 3 letter surname. I’ve tried * wildcards, but I don’t think the site is set up to accept them. Any ideas?

I put one reply on the site but it seems to have gone missing.
Try looking in St Leonards Church Yard Wortley, Sarah Mangham is registered there according to the National Burial Register.
