Gravatar Very dissapointed with the state of graves in bolton cemetery. I was looking for a grave of my gt grandfather, and found a plot / section number using this site. Upon visiting said cemetery, I was disapointed to see absolutley nothing where (i think)the grave should have been, just empty space. Looking at some of the other graves near by, I was sad to see collapsed graves or broke / damaged head stones etc.

Gravatar Hi Steve,

The condition of any grave in any Cemetery is the responsibility of the Grave owner, the Council cut the grass and remove old flowers, due to the Governments Health and Safety Policy all unsafe Headstones were laid down and the owners contacted, If your Grandad's Grave has nothing on it then its due to his family not putting anything there.

Kind Regards
